MAIN STAGE PRODUCTIONS

Take a trip with friends to world-class productions at Stratford Festival with a backstage look at how the professional artists make theatre magic.

SPECIAL EVENTS

From exclusive locally commissioned productions to impromptu appearances at public events, our ambitious actors are up for the challenge!

TECHNICAL APPRENTICESHIPS

Interested in stage management or how things run in the booth? Take on a different challenge altogether making magical sights and sound while herding cats!

OUR OBJECTIVES


  • To provide positive theatrical experiences for both the audience and the participant. 
  • To choose age appropriate material that emphasizes entertainment value, Canadian content, and material rooted in cultural and community experience.
  • To educate and train young people in all aspects of theatre: performance, playwriting, technical studies, stage management and design.
  • To sponsor an annual playwriting contest.
  • To produce plays by young people.
  • To commission, develop, and produce original works.
  • To offer fall, winter, and summer classes and workshops in all aspects of theatre. 
  • To produce a main stage winter and spring show and a summer touring production.
  • To develop a “theatre in the schools” program.
